FAQs

How long will my project take?

It usually depends on my schedule and your project scope. A tagline can be a cute day trip whereas a website is often a deep two weeks. It also depends on how ready you are to flip into go mode. Do you know what you want? Do you have all the pieces of the puzzle you need to create the thing you need? Do you need help ideating and organizing your project as a precursor to the actual copy? I ask a lot of questions before we nail down the deliverables and deadlines.

How much does copy cost?

I’ve offered a few baselines to give you an idea of the financial starting blocks, but it ultimately depends on what you need. No two projects are ever the same, so we work together to find the best fit, timing and budget for both of us. Having said that, money is a bummer barrier and creativity is so worth it, so send me a note and let’s just talk about it.

What’s included with the copy?

I have a method and process I bring you through, but it’s meant to match up to what you need. I’m not here to squish you through a dozen steps when you only need three or vice versa. You might know your business incredibly well so you’re well past strategizing and brainstorming, but you might be paddling in from no man’s land and need some real square one grounding. Mine is a “Take what you need and leave the rest” kind of co-creation. There’s also some stuff that will be covered in our contract (revisions, deliverables, intellectual property ownership, etc.) so you know what’s yours and what you get.
